Meet your Counselors

Molly Geiger

My name is Molly Geiger and I am one of the counselors at Kearney Middle School! I have been working
at Kearney since the beginning of 2019, and I have absolutely loved being a part of the Kearney family
and getting to know all of our amazing students and families!

I have been working as a school counselor since 2017. I attended graduate school at West Chester
University of Pennsylvania, where I received my Masters of Education in K-12 School Counseling. I
absolutely love being a school counselor and getting to spend time with the amazing students that I
work with! I am originally from Pennsylvania (outside of Philadelphia), but I moved to Colorado in 2018
with my husband. In my free time I love reading, running/hiking, skiing and camping with my husband
and our dog Steely. We also just welcomed our first child in December 2020 – our daughter Riley!

Allisha Damman


My name is Allisha Damman and I am one of the counselors at Kearney Middle School! I have been
working at Kearney since the beginning of 2016, and I have loved being a part of the Kearney family and
getting to know all of our amazing students and families!

I have been working as a school counselor since 2015. I attended graduate school at Indiana State
University, Indiana, where I received my Masters of Education in K-12 School Counseling. I have the best
job in the world. I get to work with the best students and families. I am originally from Beaverton,
Oregon (outside of Portland), but I moved to Colorado in 2016 with my partner. In my free time, I love
running/hiking, playing in the snow and camping with my babies (aka dogs), Luna and Sol.

Portia Harris

My name is Portia Harris, and I am the School Psychologist at Kearney Middle School! I started at
Kearney as a School Psychologist Intern in 2019, and was fortunate to continue working with my
students at Kearney after I officially became a School Psychologist. I have loved working with the Mental
Health Team and Special Education Team to provide the best individualized support we can for our
students!

I am originally from the self-proclaimed Avocado Capital of the World small town of Fallbrook,
California. I moved to Colorado in 2010 to attend Adams State University, and moved to Denver after to
pursue my Educational Specialist degree in Child, Family, and School Psychology from the University of
Denver. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and TV, hiking, and spending time with my 2 dogs and
3 cats!
